Cape County Park South - Walk Around the Park February 27, 2021
I did this walk as number 9 of the 52 hikes challenge and had fun exploring the newly revised park. I believe it reopened in 2020 around the time the pandemic began.
Cape County Park South, Cape Girardeau, Missouri (March 31, 2018)
I love the two county parks in Cape Girardeau and visit them often. Both have a lake and a driving loop that also is used as a walking loop, along with trails and beautiful sights. The parks are across the road from each other, one on the south and one on the north. I put together a slideshow and a short snippet of the beautiful Bradford Pears that bloom every Spring at the entrance of the south park. Enjoy!
