I remember those days when my boys would step into their Daddy’s shoes and walk toward me with a big grin on their face. Most everyone has seen the commonly known photos. Our child steps into our world with that unrestrained smile that warms the heart. God also stepped into our world as a child on that night long ago before we were ever born and the story warms our hearts. Joy to the world, the Lord has come! We step into God’s story through faith.

God steps into your world today and every day. Sin separates us from God, but God steps in and covers that sin with His love. “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life” (John 3:16). We sin daily. We sin sometimes hourly. We sin sometimes many times in a minute. Each and every time God steps in and warms our hearts as we feel His forgiveness. Oh, how good it feels to be forgiven! And heaven and nature sing! And wonders and wonders of His Love. Joy to the World, the Lord has come!
