1. Our children learn from us

"The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do, and the God of peace will be with you" Phil 4:9

Paul wrote these words in the book of Philippians encouraging others to do as he did to see Jesus. Are you a good model for Jesus to your family?

Little girls dress up like mommy. Little boys try on daddy's shoes. Children learn little traits from their parents, such as sitting the same way.

Use this verse to either inspire you to scrap your children either copying you or how they are like you.

Or go even deeper and share how they see Jesus by copying you. 

Here is a journaling example: Start with a photo of your child trying on your shoes and then journal how cute it is that they are copying you and lead the journaling into how you hope they also learn faith from you.
