54.How Much Time Do You Spend?

This one is just a fun question as it is fun to compare how much time we spend on this hobby!  If you post early be sure to come back to compare the responses of others.

How much time do you spend each week scrapping?

*****
I'm going to plead the fifth----but look forward to your answers

Here are your comments!

It depends on how many lessons you give me !!!! HAHA Dawn Miner

Way, way too many hours!!!! Now that summer is over, I sometimes get on at 8 or 9 a.m. and work right through lunch, finally stopping around 2 to eat. Then I'm back on again for a few hours before/after dinner. So multiply that by 7 and you get way too many hours! I find the time just flies when I'm scrapping. Belle33

Well, lets see, up at 5:30 get Cohen off to school by 7, on the computer most of the morning, so thats about 4 hours a morning, then rest of day is housecleaning, laundry etc. Get kids in bed around 8 and back on computer until midnight---another 4 hours. So I average about 8 hours a day for an average of 5 days a week. I'M CRAZY!!!!!!!!!!! NancyP

It varies a lot, depending on what else is going on in my life. I'd say about 15 hours a week on average. It's nothing compared to these pro scrappers who posted before me! g_robb53

I guess that depends on whether I include the time spent making kits. At least a couple of hours each day, sometimes all day long. pammyj

It depends on how much else is going on, but probably about 12 hours a week. JanetMM

well, at the moment not enough but hopefully that will change! Ca only get on poota once kids in bed atm, but with late nights am having c3 hours a night but that's not all scrapping as have to check emails and come and chat LOL!!! Always hope for a couple of daytime hours at the w/es between stable visits, but doesn't always work out! With the snow have done better yesterday and today! Bernie x

It can vary each week but I like to spend some part of the day scrapping, say 10 hours a week Janen

I am always thinking of scrapping, notice I said "thinking", but actually I shift into high gear when the next lesson hits my mailbox. ccynden

too much time for my husband...not much for me...it relaxes me and i love it!!!! but I didn't really realise how many time!!! Mariscraps

I don't spend nearly enough time!!! I think I only scrapped two pages last month. I really need to make more of an effort! Dawn

I don't scrap very often - I tend to do it in bursts. At the moment any time I get in the craft room is swallowed up in making Christmas cards! Mole

Too much probably. I spend more time looking around than anything I think. Admiring others work and checking out the new kits. Although must admit, these days I tend to buy from my favourite designers and places that I am completely sure of. Have finally gotten over the download all freebies thing though. lynnedbears

Depends on what is happening in my life. I usually get a couple hours a day ! Jules

Not as much time as I would like to. 2-3 hrs per week. That also depends on the old computer 204cg

I'm with Hummie--pleading the 5th! lovinlifegurl

Far too much time. DH reckons he is a computer widower lol. I'm a slow typist so spend more time than other people when I'm chatting and comenting. The time scrapping a lo takes depends on whether I am working from my own ideas or if I am doing a challenge and have certain criteria to stick to. a1bjm

Hm, well, on a good week that I actually get time to scrap I'd say it could get up to 20 hours, but there are some weeks it's more like 2 or 3 hours. Justamommie

All depends on my week...I'd say (guesstimate) 10 hrs? Tammyshere

Pretty much every waking minute. It has replaced all my other crafty interests. No mess, small expense, and great, quick results. You cannot say that about knitting or quilting for sure. And everybody loves to get digi gifts, not so much the knitting and quilting gifts you have to store somewhere!! I am glad I discovered this hobby. And all the neat people I am meeting through it. Nanscraps

Hmmmm - That's more complicated than it seems - In actual page creation, a couple hours, probably. But, in planning, writing and keeping my digi-supplies in order, probably 10. i did a six-page LO on the memory of a dear friend-mentor that took me most of "one day" - about 8 hours of that day and about 4 hours the next day. And then i created another set of 20 pages about one of my closest friends who died, and that was a "memorial" set, so that took me a full week to scrap those pages. But, i am retired now and in failing health, so i am not able to do all the other physical activities i once did, so scrapping "keeps me off the streets and out of trouble." heh heh heh Some days, i don't do any actual scrapping - then some days, i whip out several pages. But, i was a journalist for years (among other things i've "been"), and i had a personal column - since most of those columns were "lessons i learned from life" - i use them in my scrapbooks, too. So retyping a particular column with Pagemaker in newspaper style can take me an hour or so to retype, create the background page, and then print the copy over the background page. Jayleigh3

Actually scrapping layouts about 1 hour a day. I do spend many hours a day going over tutorials and organizing my stash. I would like to get so organized that I could do more layouts each day. It is a wonderful hobby for me as I am restricted physically but love my computer. Jody

2 hours a day. Depends on my disponibility. AMarie
