The Fun Extras - Set Four

64. Uninterupted Scrapping Time

This is just a fun question that I hope and think everyone will enjoy chatting about.  Be sure to come back and see what others say and talk to each other in the comments.

If you were offered unlimited uninterrupted scrapping time for one weekend... Would you
A) take the offer and run;
B) consider it, ask your significant other if it's OK;
C) consider it, but turn it down... Too hard to arrange; or
D) turn it down outright... Who needs uninterrupted scrapping time? Once you choose your answer...

Tell us why if you can.

Here are your comments!

Much as my first instinct is to choose A, I'd ask my DH, as it's good manners, and with 2 DDs, they would need sorting too if I weren't around Bernie x

A - I'd prefer to pick the dates, but if I could have ANY uninterrupted time, I'd take it - LOL (but I'd rather be interrupted than not have anyone to interrupt me)!

I guess I'd have to take B to be fair to DH. If the interruptions are from my grandkids, though, I'd be happy to stop scrapping! I'm lucky to have the time now to scrap for long periods and I usually have the phone right next to me so at least I can answer quickly and get back to scrapping! Belle33

Probably C for me; with 6 grandchildren distributed among 3 daughters, I have to schedule my scrapping and other leisure activities around babysitting and other time spent with them. JanetMM

It would be B not that DH would mind. but its nice to ask. if we dont have plans or watching the grands. it just the two of us any how still getting use to that HAHA Dawn Miner

It would have to be B for me, but I know he would be happy for me to do it Janen

Oh...well...I'm gonna say B, as much as I'd love to say A. Hubby would let me. In fact, he'd take the boys and go do something with them. Tammyshere

Would love to say A too, but still have to make arrangements for kids and dh, so I guess my answer is B… mrscwooddell

My answer would be C. That would be because I can never make up my mind as to what to scrap, as I have so many photos; I would just frustrate myself being wishy-washy and totally end up too tired to actually do anything. That could also be another reason why I am so slow in completing my lessons (LOL). ccynden

I would answer B. Since we have two little ones and he would be the one to watch them it would only be fair to ask. kkangels

A GREAT BIG "A" !!!! And I can say that as I have no one to answer to----no sig other to check with, no kids to plan around, and I LOVE IT! As most of you know, I live with dd and take care of a 4 and 6 year old. But dad takes them on Friday night and they don't get home until Sunday night. Dd works all weekend, so guess what I do---UNINTERRUPTED!!!!! Unfortunately, this will end in April as dad gets transferred to St. Louis, so I will have the kids all weekend. NancyP

I would take the offer and run... hands down! Dawn

A!! Why, you ask? Because, when it comes to my free creative time I AM VERY GREEDY! What is better that staying up ALL night working on a project. LOVE it! PamBor

My kids are all grown up now and hubbie and I usually please ourselves as to what we want to do anyway. Must admit most weekends are usually free. lynnedbears

It would have to be B, with working and the grandkids around most of the time. It's pretty busy. Jules

A. If I had an opportunity to even consider A, the grands would be with their parents and I could work on photo binders 2011 for Christmas gifts. Hard to do for them with them coming in and saying, ooh grandma that is so pretty. 204cg

Uninterrupted would mean i didn't have chores, or work or church, so given all those, I'd choose A in a heartbeat. I actually planned two weeks uninterrupted, then got sick for 10 of the 14 so was completely interrupted! Sigh… lovinlifegurl -

Definitely A Luckily for me dh completely understands this obsession and keeps me well supplied with drinks and nibbly bits if I'm trying to finish a lo so I'm confident I would have his approval and encouragement without having to ask. a1bjm

I would definitely try to take advantage of it. But, I am easily distracted sometimes. so, I am sure I'd get some scrapping done, but I might also spend time surfing the web, or washing dishes or folding laundry! LOL JustAMommie

Retired and no kids living near, my only impediment to uninterrupted scrapping time is my creativity! I must confess to hours of fiddling with files, though. I love to just look at my stuff. Although since I started using Organizer, I don't have to keep shuffling them around. Nanscraps

A, in any case. AMarie
Totally an A for me. Not even hubby could keep my away LOL! Maggie
