My Corner Online

These layout suggestion and layout re-do's were done as a part of Course 1, Lesson 8A, on Visual Weight. I invite you to be brave and participate by senidng me a layout. It is how I learned to grow in skills, with others giving me suggestions.

For this one, the photos are the focal point and that is what is most important.

I'm going to suggest that you work on the drop shadows with this one. They are perfectly fine for when I first made the videos, but it seems digital scrapbooking has changed since then a lot. I now prefer softer drop shadows. To do this, simply edit the shadow and move the slider for opacity down to somewhere in the 40's. To edit the shadow, click on the "fx" in the layer's palette.

The flowers are a little large to be realistic, to me. It works to have them in threes though. And it feels as if they do need to fill that space to help with grounding, so maybe make them half size and try a cluster of six? Or three with some leaves?
