There seems to be some truth to this song, but then again, in all reality, not really. I think the truth lies in the fact that people find some reassurance from others on the internet. Everyone wants to feel a bit of self-worth. Often we find what we need from others on the internet that we cannot find from those in our real life.
Is there anything wrong with where we get our fulfillment? In one way I feel guilty about getting past my insecurities through uplifting support of strangers on the internet and yet, in another way, it seems okay. I think that as long as we keep reality in check and remember to spend time with people in real life, it's okay. As with anything, too much of one thing is not good.
