Internet Archive (Wayback Machine)

Have you seen this site before?

This is the page for HW.

I'm having to laugh at the snapshots of the site back in 2006! Oh, how bad is THAT! There is even one from 2005!

The links are even clickable!

You can look up any site.

I'm surprised that they keep this information so long. It must take a lot of hosting space.

It just goes to show that if you don't want anything on the internet forever, don't put it out there.

"The WABAC Machine (pronounced, and often synonymous with, Way-back) refers to a fictional machine from the cartoon segment Peabody's Improbable History, an ongoing feature of the 1960s cartoon series The Rocky and Bullwinkle Show. ... The WABAC Machine is a plot device used to transport the characters Mr. Peabody and Sherman back in time. The meaning of the acronym is unknown, but mid-century, high-technology names often ended in "AC" (generally for "Automatic Computer" or similar), such as ENIAC, UNIVAC, EDVAC, MANIAC, and JOHNNIAC." - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WABAC_machine

I grabbed a few screen shots of Hummie's World through the years, although you can go to the archive and click around to see more pages.

December 2005! See, this site HAS been around for a long time. It started out as a basic site with pages of tutorials free to everyone. All of those page and tutorials are still available on the site, and for free too!

You can see I've had the logo for a very long time and I remember making those ribbons from scratch! It took me a long time to make them and now they look so horrible to me! I have learned so much since that time.

December 2006 - a new header and a chatbox, but there is much more information available for free.

December 2007 - they did not get the header, but I'm sure I have the files somewhere.  You can see there is a link to the forum, gallery, and store, ready to open on January 1, 2008.  I was working hard at this point to get the site just open. The store closed after just a month as I decided I couldn't do it all.  Building the forum and classes was a big job ahead of me, even to just record videos to match all the written tutorials I already had available.

December 2008 -- Very simple header, but the forum and gallery have changed with much improvement.

February 2010 -- they did not have a snapshot later in the year in 2010, but you see the header has changed again.  I think the site really grew a lot this year.

December 2011 -- I think there were many technical improvements in 2011 and you can see the store link is back on the header as we ready to open the store January 1, 2012.

September 2012 -- this is the last snapshot the site has of our site. Many of the links in the forum are clickable and readable on the archive site. I find that interesting.

The last snapshot is Jan 16, 2013, so they do not have our most recent changes yet.
