Click here to go to your Google Activity. In the sidebar, click on "delete by activity" to delete individual items manually from your Google history or see your search history. I found my history had been being kept since 2012 and that made me uncomfortable, especially since it even logged the time of the search. Do I really need someone to stumble upon all my "diary" of work?
Choose a range of time to delete or "all time."
A better method is to click here and turn off web history and use the link to delete all Google search history. Choose whether to include Chrome history.

Did you know that Google allows you to delete the web history they have collected? Each time you do a search with Google on any of its products (ie. Youtube, search, shopping, maps, blogs), it stores it in a history so that it may target you with specific ads.
In a way, I want to leave the history there as if I am going to have ads directed at me one way or another, I'd rather have them be things I am interested in right?
However, if you visit the Google history page, it gives you user friendly ability to delete the history or even "pause" it from being collected.

Apparently I blogged about this three times, so it must be important! Ah!
