Some people feel the rain; others just get wet

6.20.13 Arrow Prayer:  Lord, what a joy to watch the Ria and Tizzy (our dogs) delight and have a lovefest with the yard after they had been separated from each other and the yard while we traveled for three days. It was pouring down rain and yet it did not matter to them as they were so happy to be together in their yard they frolicked about in the rain for two hours.  Give me a good attitude and perspective through all adversity and help me to be joyous regardless of the circumstances.  Sometimes I need to "feel the rain," being joyful always, praying continually, and giving thanks, rather than "just get wet," being frumpy, mumbling grumpy, and forgetting to look for the blessings.  1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 “Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.”
