Home Made Washi Tape

Click on the image source for some fun ideas on using this home made washi tape.  I love this idea and wish I had more hours in a day.  It would really make gift pages special, even with just plain white or colored papers.

See the instructions with images on the image source site, but basically, you tape masking tape onto wax paper and then sand it lightly to remove the sheen so the fabric will adhere, then use glue or Modge Podge to adhere the (ironed) fabric, using a hard/flat plastic object to smooth.  Finally, cut out the strips of tape.

I'm going to bet you can print out your own digital scrapbooking papers and do the same thing with them, giving you the ability to use any print you can create in Photoshop (or Photoshop Elements) or a kit you might purchase.
