Joseph Antoine Theodore St. Germain and Marie Josephine Josette Calvet

Joseph Antoine Theodore St. Germain was born in 1755 in Longueuil, Quebec, Canada to Joseph St. Germain and Marie Louise Beba of Ste. Anne, Quebec.

[Research his correct name? Sometimes I see his name as Joseph Gazaille St Germain and sometimes as Joseph Philippe St. Germain Lamoureux (1759–1805)]

 

Marie Josephine Josette Calvet was born March 3, 1774 in St. Louis Missouri [Baptism at Old Cathedral?] to Joseph Antoine Theodore Calvet and Marie Josephe Therese Marechal.

 

Joseph and Josephine were married October 26, 1789.

Church records, 1766-1993 Marriages: 1781-1834 Pg 23 Basilica of St. Louis, King of France (A.D. 1770) (Old Cathedral - St. Louis, Missouri) 26 October 1789. Marriage of Joseph St. Germain, son of Joseph St. Germain and Marie Louise Beba of Ste. Anne, Quebec to Marie Josette Calvet, daughter of Joseph Calvet and Marie Marechal.

 

In 1780, Joseph and Josephine had a daughter, Ornol St. Germaine, in Richwoods, Washington County, Missouri. She would die July 31, 1883 at the age of 103 years. [Did she marry? Documentation?]

 

On October 2, 1786, Joseph and Josephine have a daughter, Marie Josephine St. Germain. She would marry Ambroise Aubry December 16, 1841, at the age of 55 years, in Florrisant, Missouri.

 

In 1790, Joseph and Josephine have a daughter, Catherine St. Germain. She would marry Joseph Guader.

 

On June 9, 1792, Joseph and Josephine have a daughter, Maria Aurore St. Germain. [My Line]

 

On November 5, 1793, Joseph and Josephine have a son, Jean-Baptiste St. Germain.

 

In 1794, Joseph and Josephine have a son, Andre St. Germain. He would marry Celeste Desjarlais.

 

In 1800, Joseph and Josephine have a daughter, Charlotte St. Germain, in Florissant. She would marry Louis Stanislaus Tougard dit Laviolette. She would die November 28, 1857 at the age of 57 years.

 

Joseph died December 24, 1805 in Florissant, St. Louis County, Missouri [Need documentation]

 

On April 2, 1812, Josephine married Alexis Loisel. [unless the marriage record is for another woman]

 

Josephine died December 8, 1828 in St. Louis, Missouri. [Need documentation]
