Campground at the Falls, Pineville, Missouri

On June 22, 2017, we visited the Campground at the Falls in Pineville, Missouri. What we loved most about it was that our tent was right next to the river's edge of the Elk River. Oh, our favorite activity is river wallowing!

The campground was a great experience with wandering about the falls and the river wallowing. The only negative experience was when we were packing up camp the guy with the mower came up and mowed all around right up to our tent! He could have gone somewhere else for a half hour and we would have been gone. It was really rude. This was so many years ago that this person may not even be working there anymore, so I would not let it keep you away, but I certainly remembered it. There was a restaurant in the building across from the falls that I understood was very good, but we could not go because we had the dogs with us.
