Klepzig Mill

We visited Klepzig Mill on October 27, 2018, I feel as if a lot of people make it to Rocky Falls in Shannon County, but do not realize they are so close to Klepzig Mill. I know I missed it several times until I read about it online and sought it out. The road to Klepzig Mill is not for everyone or ever vehicle. It is a very narrow dirt road and I am not sure how two vehicles would pass each other. I am not sure what it is like during rainy or winter weather either as one might get stuck.

Directions to Klepzig Mill from the four way stop at Eminence: Drive east on Highway 106 and turn right onto take Highway H. Turn left onto Highway NN and drive past Rocky Falls. Turn left on County Road 522. Klepzig Mill is less than a mile on the right.

The old mill and other buildings sit along a shut-ins area of Rocky Creek and it makes for a beautiful place for photographers to play.
