Gasconade River at Froggy's River Resort

I floated the Gasconade River and camped at Froggy's River Resort July 24, 2021. Froggy's is located at 30399 Smokey Lane, Richland, Pulaski County, Missouri, which is not far from Fort Leonardwood and St. Robert's Missouri near Highway 44. It was the inaugural event for the Girl Campers of Missouri and there were four of us that enjoyed our stay and float together. There is a tent camping area near the river with plenty of shade for trees and then nearby is an area for the RV's. The staff was great and we had no complaints.

This is the campsite early in the morning.

There is a pond which I enjoyed walking around, but some may enjoy fishing.

There is a road that is near the campground that is a private access road on another property, but I found it beautiful in the morning light.

There is this old building with an old Wonder Bread truck that seemed to be smiling at me and I enjoyed photographing them and spending time there.

A quick walk up to the store is where we met to be bused for the canoe float.

The water is green and not clear to see through like the other rivers I love to float, but I still enjoyed the float none-the-less.

There is a small cave near the end of the float. We thought this might be it. It wasn't.

To the left here is the cave with a spring.

You can see the bus at the end which is where our campsite is located, so we did not have to walk anywhere.

And here is where the spring comes out. It is hard to photograph, but if you get closer you can appreciate it.
