7. Something you no longer do

"And the third day we cast out with our own hands the tackling of the ship" Acts 27:19

Paul really taught us a lot by his example. As he was in trouble while being taken to Rome for trial and execution, a storm came up and was so bad that they had to throw things overboard.

Our life is the same way with storms all around us. We have good weeks and we have bad weeks. Sometimes we need to throw things overboard to keep from sinking.

Sometimes life is so bad, we have to take a look at the things in our life and decide what we do not need any more. Sometimes those things are sins, but sometimes they are just hobbies or tasks that we've gotten in the habit of doing regularly.

I find myself pruning my life occassionally. Do you? Do you feel great burdens lifted off your shoulders?

Find something in your life which you used to do, but no longer do, and scrap a page about it. There is no need to use this Bible verse, just use this as inspiration for a page.
