Robert Geile enjoyed the hobby of photography. He took this photo of the St. Louis Civil Courts Building which his father-in-law, John Finlay, was the head carpenter during construction. This courthouse is what brought John & Erna Finlay to St. Louis.
Note the window lights in the courthouse are lit in the shape of a cross. Maybe this was taken on Christmas. Was the janitor playing?
