This was another good year for the downtown Christmas. The live manequins are always a hit.

This was a memorable year for us as it was the first year we walk around downtown to participate in the holiday evening and we had a grand time. There seemed to be the holiday spirit everywhere with people singing Christimas carols and crowds of happy people. That really made a difference. Every year since then the music has not been the same and the spirit has been lost. I wish they would make a grand effort again to bring it back to where it was the first year we went. The presence of happy people really makes the difference. We got hot chocolate from the hot chocolate bar and rode the horse drawn carriage. We enjoyed all of the Christmas decorations. I wish I had video taped the even, but I only have a few photos as in the video slideshow above.
