Jackson and Cape Girardeau Christmas Holiday Lights 2020

Although a huge big bad threatening line of rain was on the radar heading our way, we decided to go on a driving tour around Jackson and Cape Girardeau to view the holiday lights on Wednesday, December 23, 2020.

The following are a few of the locations visited in the above video: Uptown Jackson, Jackson City Park, Wibbs BBQ Jackson, 2360 N. High Street Jackson, Hubbard Family Lights at 1565 Jennifer Drive, Jackson, Crossroads Fellowship Jackson, Cape Girardeau County Park North, Carraige Crossing Cape Girardeau, 2046 Perryville Road Cape Girardeau, Timothy Circle Cape Girardeau, 2624 Melrose Avenue Cape Girardeau, Jeff's Christmas Lights at 1858 Evondale Cape Girardeau, 2019 Concord Place Cape Girardeau (missing as lights not on, but got the neighbor), 1713 Broodwood Drive Cape Girardeau, 1606 Oak Hills Drive Cape Girardeau, 244 Capaha Trail Cape Girardeau (filmed, but lights not on with a note that the grinch's rain stole Christmas), Pieronnet Street Cape Girardeau, Main Street downtown Cape Girardeau, Hutson's window display Cape Girardeau.

 

I feel as if I have so many photos of downtown Cape, all the same throughout the years, but it is so magical I just have to take time to play dodge-the-vehicles each year to step out in the street for fast photo ops. Some of these are longer exposure so the lights twinkle. The rain sure did make for some great reflections in the roadways!
