Mount Magazine State Park
Mount Magazine State Park was an unforgettable visit. I had no idea what I was going to experience when I headed up that mountain on October 30, 2020. Oh those mountaintop views and I did not have to travel so far east or west! It is just in the neighboring state of Arkansas. Mount Magazine is Arkansas’s highest point at 2,753 feet and is part of the Ozark-St. Francis National Forests. There are many places to explore for just a day trip on Mount Magazine, but I could camp or stay here again.
