I do love to experiment and try new recipes. However, our church had an excellent series, including a book we read, group studies, and sermons on vocation and during the process, I realized that recipes, food, cookie, and baking are not in my vocation! Our vocation is our talents, gifts, and passions that are used as a way to serve God. Vocation happens when you take what you love to the world's needs. Every time I have to take a dish to a potluck or cook for company, I stress over what to make, shopping, and whether or not the dish will be good enough. Yes! I have a love-hate relationship with recipes. I love the adventure, but only if I and hubby are doing the tasting, but then the recipes are too large for one person. Regardless, I still go on adventures and I still collect recipes that seem to work for me time and again, so I thought I would take what I do love and share it here on the web with you.
