6. Introduction to Shutter Speed. (link to comment) This lesson introducts the basic concepts of shutter speed. It includes a chart for completion based on your camera settings. The lesson is 41 minutes long and intense in math. I would suggest setting aside a good amount of time to view the video and pause to study the screen as needed. The shutter speed numbers are difficult to understand, but once you grasp the concept, it will make using your camera much more effective.

The orange circles represent handheld general rule guides and the blue circle represents the common general rule for what is considered fast shutter speed. The red numbers are what is seen in the camera and the blue numbers are conversions to whole numbers with decimals to the tenths.
