Photo Bucket for Photographing Flowers

Do you think this would work?

This is yet another thing I would like to try.  I wonder how much of a difference it would make in photographing flowers.

Does this bucket look like the kind that flowers come in at the flower nursery?  I'm sure I've sent a bunch of these to the recycling bin.

So, it appears that the benefits of the slits are to hold the stem in place so the wind does not blow it.

The camera is not on the tripod, but rather the camera shoots into the bucket so the flower has a black background.  Click on the resource link to see the sample photographs taken using this bucket.

What do you think?  Is this something you might do often?  I might at least try it to see if I like it.  I'm not sure I would always want a black background on my flowers, however, unless I was needing to extract them.  I like them with blue skies and natural settings in the background.
