Challenge 39. - Chipboard
Chipboard is very common is traditional scrapbooking. I used to see it a lot in digital scrapbooking, but it seems designers have gotten away from it. In traditional scrapbooking, you will often see alphabets cut out of chipboard. Chipboard is a thicker than cardboard. Chipboard albums are common in that chipboard shapes are used as the pages in lieu of paper. Chipboard also comes in shapes. It gives a little depth to a layout.
Add a sticker, stamp, doodle, or gems to a chipboard.
Add paper to a chipboard, but be sure to allow the edges of the chipboard to show so you see the depth and can tell that it is chipboard. In using real chipboard, the edges are sanded after glueing on the paper.
