Lesson 53 - Fitting Pieces (link to comment)

This is an odd title to a technique, but it works for lack of anything better.

I really like this technique a lot.  Every time I see it in layouts, it draws my eye to it.

You will note that in the bottom right, I actually just cut a shape out of the mat and then moved it slightly away--instead of adding a new element. I made the odd shape using the selection tools.
