It was my turn again to write for the church blog and I am a little depressed lately and not really in the writing mood. Sometimes I write simple phrases because I think they are easier for people to read in this busy world with so much information overload. It is not really a poem and I have no idea about all the poem ettitquette anyway. It's just phrases for people to put together to put together their own meaning.

1 John 3:1, 2a "See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are. The reason why the world does not know us is that it did not know him. Beloved, we are God's children now."
The election is here
The world has gone mad
The world has always been mad
The world will always be mad
Under attack: sin
"We" are children of God
Together as a family
Never to stand alone
Entering that voting booth
As a child of God
Our Father claims us as His own
Never to disown us
Loves us that much
Incomprehensible love
So we are: His love
Who we are; identity
God's children NOW
Unswayed by the voices around
It's what our God says
His name be lifted up
