Come Dance in the Rain with Me! a birthday prayer

7/2/13 Arrow Prayer:  Lord, today again I count another birthday.  I was not only born into this world, but through baptism and faith, also remember my spiritual birth in which you cleanse me of my sins.  I am fearfully and wonderfully made and oh how wonderful the works of Your hands! Thanks, Lord, for all the blessings before today and all the blessings yet to come that you shower upon me.  I like to dance in the rain showers, Lord.  There is something about the rain You create that draws me in and makes me want to throw all my cares up to the sky and frolic about.  The water will dry from my skin and my hair, but the pleasure of the rain sliding down my face and the exhilarating carefree moments will remain a memory forever.  I want people everywhere to join with me in celebrating Your goodness and mercy by dancing in the rain with me.
