James 5:9

"Do not grumble against one another, brothers, so that you may not be judged; behold, the Judge is standing at the door." No one knows the day or the hour (Mark 3:32) that the Father will be standing at the door to judge me. He could judge me here and now as well as on the Last Day. How shortsighted am I?! Therefore, my mouth should be patient with others lest I am judged for what I grumble and complain against another. Patience is the answer to stopping a grumbling mouth. Oh, but does my mouth spill out complaints anyway!  Thank You, Lord, for reminding me of how much I need Your forgiveness and thank You for the gift of faith and all that grace! Increase my faith so that my mumbling heart is replaced with a heart of grace so that mumbling does not come out as grumbling! Come, Lord Jesus, come! And grant me patience while I wait. Amen.

N - Is it necessary?

K - Is it kind?

If your answer to any is 'no,' the comment is not worth saying
