Lesson 7 - Gradients (pdf) (link to comment)

I hope you have enjoyed your break with easier techniques because this one is sure learning heavy intense! I know that even though I wrote the tutorial, I still need to practice this more myself! I am going to guess that everyone may learn at least one knew thing with this lesson!  The video is 45 minutes long, so you will need to set aside some time to do this lesson.

Please make a layout using a custom-made gradient of your own.  I have shared three unique layout examples of ways to utilize the gradient tool in your layouts.  I look forward to seeing you either utilize one of these technique (or all of them if you want to get 3 layouts done!) or to come up with something new to inspire the rest of us.

Download free Gradient Template as described in tutorial.

If you have any questions, please do ask! The videos are about 45 minutes long all together, so be prepared!

Here is what I've come up with for a simple use of gradients to go with the new gradient tutorial.

Download the free journal tabs and use them with a gradient in your layout.

Here is one using a gradient on a mask.

I was inspired to do this technique by a layout that Sarah shared that she said she scraplifted. I knew it was perfect for a challenge to utilize the gradient tool so that we may practice more with this tool.

Here are your digital scrapbooking layouts!
