On April 23, 2005, at 8:27 p.m., YouTube co-founder Jawed Karim (wikipedia) uploaded the first YouTube video “Me at the zoo” talking about how cool elephants' trunks are. The person behind the video was high school friend Yakov Lapitsky. It is nearly a 20-second clip.
I just had to peek. My first video was uploaded October 13, 2007 11:14 a.m. called "Rounded Corners Tutorial" and has no sound because I was too afraid to let people hear my voice. It is crazy that it has 14,269 views.
