Sikeston Jaycee Bootheel Rodeo
I had never attended a rodeo before and look how old I was! Every year we wanted to attend the Sikeston Jaycee Bootheel Rodeo, but it always seemed to fall on our wedding anniversary weekend in August, so we never went. Our anniversary is August 9. I finally made plans to make an exception and we went on August 10, 2016, and we enjoyed our time.
I wished I could get down in front with the other photographers, but there were signs not allowing people there for safety reasons, so I took these photos from the stands. A lot of them are blurry because of the distance and the movement, but I share them anyway in the above slideshow.
