Indian Hills Winery (Now Closed)
We visited Indian Hills Winery in July 27, 2012 and it is located at 9625 County Road 250, Puxico, Missouri. I think I have been there several times, but others times we wanted to visit and found them closed. It was a nice place with nice food and we found it disappointing that they closed. It is not far from Mingo National Wildlife Refuge and Duck Creek in Stoddard County.
Yes, this was a thing! It started by a funny incident and then each year we found a different winery with a body of water and asked permission if he could take a dip. It went on for many years. I suppose this was the winery of the year that year.
