Markham Springs Recreation Area
We visited Markham Springs Recreation Area on July 20, 2019, and I think we missed the main attraction! We never saw the house and the spring that is often pictured. We will have to go back. I remember seeing a nice camping area and then we went down to the water to wallow for a bit. This is when we learned that the Black River is yucky below Clearwater Lake and beautiful above the lake. It is shown as being in Ellsinore, but it is closer to Williamsville in Wayne County, Missouri.
The drive home though provided some great sunset views with moo-cows in the field. I had to stop and take a photo of them. I have no idea where we were.
