Marquand Fair

Hubby's Aunt lived in Marquand, so on September 24, 2016, we took yet another opportunity to visit her using the local fair as an excuse. This year, however, there was an opportunity to ride a helicopter. He was packing up to leave because he had no business when we showed up, so we made it just in time. When we got back, lots more business arrived, so we helped to make his trip out there for this event worthwhile. We had a great time overlooking the Castor River which we love to take day trips to do River Wallowing of Madison County and then visit his Aunt. It seems I did not take many photos of the fair, but we did enjoy ourselves and we enjoyed having an opportunity to tour the log cabin in the middle of town.

But these photos are fun to see the Marquand and the Castor River from an aerial view. You can see the crowds at the fair.
