Greenville Falls Park on the Reedy River

Greenville Falls Park on the Reedy River is right in the middle of a bustling town. We had trouble finding things to do in the middle of the State of South Carolina. We even asked a lot of people what there was to do, and the answer was that the locals always took vacation in the northern part. Of course, the ocean on the southern part is an attraction for people all over the world. Since we were driving that way, we stopped at Greenville, South Carolina on June 30, 2025, on our way from the north to the south.

We really enjoyed our time at the park. It was well done. Where we parked we were greeted by this unusual statute.

This sort of reminded my of Forest Park in the Middle of St. Louis in that it was a large park with plenty of room for walking and picnicking, and lots of beautiful landscape, and a place for shows, etc. This garden in the distance was gorgeous.

We loved the gnarly roots!

The falls or just to the right behind the trees in this photo.

There is a city scape view behind the falls which is different for us.

It is a beautiful waterfall! There are many places to sit and enjoy it. We did not go everywhere one could go, but did see lots of angles.

He wanted to stick his feet in it.

Lots of lovely landscaping.

Liberty Bridge goes across from one side of Reedy River to the other and has a view of the waterfall from lots of angles.

This is looking down from Liberty Bridge.

My hair is a mess! It has been a long day in high heat, but I am dedicated to getting in front of the camera more.

We ate at a restaurant on one end of the Liberty Bridge and enjoyed our food. We could have eaten outside which I often want to do, but we had been out in the heat all day.
