The Barrens Winery
The Barrens is now permanently closed, but I am sharing the photos as memories. These photos are from July 11, 2010. It was established July 1, 2010, so these were from our first visit right after it opened. We visited The Barrens often and I thought I would have had more photos of it than these.
The Barrens was located in Perryville right along the main drag at 2815 North Highway 51, after you went through town and were headed out towards the bottoms. They had an upstairs where we liked to sit away from the crowds.
Under the hut inside was where you would taste test and order wine and food.
We often sat out on the front porch at the tables to listen to the music. I believe we did the grape stomp here one year too!
