Camp Wartburg

We visited Camp Warburg on June 26, 2022, with our church for a retreat. It really is a great place with lots of things to explore and do. The camp is located at 5705 LRC Rd, Waterloo, Illinois, and there were many places for us to visit along the way there to make a whole day traveling if we choose to do so. We went up after work but we did do so visiting of other places on the way back.

You can see more in the video above, but I am sharing a few photos. This is our group on the deck behind the room where we ate our meals.

We do have fun sometimes all on our own. It is the simple things in life that you can enjoy if you just take the time to adventure.

On the trails we found a rope bridge that was fun.

It was hard to get off of it though, but us old folks did it!

The children often did activities on their own which left the adults to enjoy things on their own. We did go on a creek walk.

If he finds a vine, he will swing!

Famous feet shot, as we call them.

The pool had a fluke day where the pump quit working. They promised us it was safe to swim in and we were the only brave soles to try it and had a blast doing so.
