Peachbarn Winery (was Hedman)

Peachbarn Winery is located at 560 Chestnut Street Alto Pass, Illinois. It is not far from Alto Vineyards. We visited severl times when it was Hedman Winery and we really liked it when it was under its original owners. Anders and Gerd Hedman were from Sweden and Gerd made the best Swedish food. The place was small and quaint which we loved. It has expanded now and the food is more traditional. It is still a good place, but hard to compare with the former homemade cooking. There is not much a view at this winery and we like to go to wineries to sit outside and look at the view. The new owners took over in 2019 and we have been there twice I believe since then. Once we came for contra dancing and the other time I came with a friend. All of the below photos are from when it was Hedman Winery.
